The older one wandered off after awhile, but the young one stayed. For 3 days. She waited on the porch while we were at the beach all day, and slept there every night. She would not leave, even though my mom forbade us to feed her, hoping she'd go home. <br />She did, with us on Labor Day. We had Stella for 15+ years. Best dog ever, and my son's best friend.</p>",
