Here is such a thing: a 4.3"composite-video TFT monitor for rear view cameras for less than $10. </p><p>With a raw resolution of 480x272 it looked like a good monitor for that Raspberry Pi Zero W in the drawer.</p><p>After some tinkering it turned out to be perfectly serviceable: I get 49x16 crisp console characters, and a just usable X desktop.
