The ones that shamed my partner for allowing this boy into her heart so she could love him, is this what they so desperately wanted to mitigate? </p><p>These two are happy. In a way that I&#39;ve never truly seen before.</p><p>And, listen, I&#39;m a CSA survivor. I understand the zealotry associated with s*xual abuse, specifically when a kid is involved. There are people who mean ill and have the capacity to irreparably scar kids like my abuser did to me. </p><p>but.. </p><p>Indescriminately abusing MAPs and their partners for being proud of their healthy, functioning relationships isn&#39;t how you rescue anybody.</p><p>You&#39;re not fighting for kids.</p><p>You&#39;re fighting for moral superiority.</p><p>Every adult who bullies a kid on social media just for accidentally wandering into a &quot;minors dni&quot; space is doing NOTHING to address the issue of exploitation.</p><p>Humans are unique in their ability to reason and to differentiate between genuine threats and harmless phenomena.</p><p>These two healing souls, comfortable enough to share the most vulnerable parts of life with each other, aren&#39;t threats. Not to society, not to children, and least of all to the fragile egos of the moral absolutionists that periodically abuse them.</p><p>They&#39;re a couple. They&#39;re partners. They&#39;re lovers.
