"content": "<p>這邊的椴樹最常見的是小葉椴（Tilia cordata）和闊葉椴（T. platyphyllos），毛糯米椴（T. henryana）大概只有在植物園能看到。這個時節走在我家附近的街上空氣裏是椴樹花的芳香，不像上條提到的那麼濃，很令人愉悅。<br />植物園裏有介紹一些重要的樹木和與它們有關的神話的牌子。對椴樹的介紹說它是“女性的樹”，並提到希臘神話裏有不死之身的半人馬Chiron（Χείρων）的身世：他的母親是海洋女仙Philyra（Φιλύρα），Cronos（Κρόνος，宙斯的父親）和她有一腿，為逃避妻子Rhea（ Ῥέα或 Ῥεία）捉姦而變成公馬，Philyra和他交歡以後生下來的就是半人半馬的Chiron，她對此深感恥辱，哀求諸神把她變成了椴樹。現代希臘語裏椴樹的名字仍然是φιλύρα或φίλυρα。<br />希臘語維基的女仙Φιλύρα詞條有這麼一句（英語機翻）：“She was the goddess of healing, fragrance and perfume, writing , and beauty.”這些特質也許來自她和椴樹的聯繫。</p>",
