Few websites use that model number. I even managed to find a PDF manual for the Nitro 5, and it says</p><p>⎡Nitro 5<br />Covers: AN515-46 / AN515-47 / AN515-58 / AN517-42 / AN517-43 / AN517-55<br />This revision: January 2023⎦</p><p>Lovely. A different label on the bottom says “AN517-55” so at least that&#39;s okay, and this is the manual. Online forums talk about doing a battery reset by pushing a paperclip into the appropriate pinhole on the bottom of the laptop. There&#39;s a huge air vent, but the only other holes are screw holes. No pinholes on any other side of the laptop.</p><p>Some help sites suggest removing the battery and putting it back. Took off the bottom of the laptop, and… No. Not a cartridge battery like the laptop I had many years ago. This one has multiple screws and a connector with hair-thin wires screaming to be broken. I can swap M.2s in my NUC because those use a study connection.
