After graduation or drop-out you'd lose your account. That's fair, and we knew the deal.</p><p>My friend went to the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. They had a much sweeter deal. You could pick your user name yourself, and you had an <code>@kth.se</code> email address for LIFE. Very cool.</p><p>That is, until my friend received an email from noreply@kth.se just now, 20 years later, saying hey you have an email account here but you're not faculty or student, so we'll disable it in November.</p><p>WHAT.</p><p>Can you imagine how many places a person has been using their email address when they've had it for 20 years??</p><p>Not cool, KTH. Not cool.</p>",
