His friend, who was in IT at the time, said "He's installing software and troubleshooting/upgrading the computer to make those games work." </p><p>His friend was right. I ended up helping my high school setup their computer lab, which led to my first computer repair job, which turned into running my own IT Consulting business. </p><p>Playing computer games turned into a 25+ year career.</p><p>Encourage kids to do what they love. You never know what it might turn into.</p>",
