"content": "<p>Extra Pictures 1…</p><p>This was by far one of my favorite hikes so far, but not for the reasons you’d think. The summit of Mt Washington was not the main event at all. Yes, it was nice to check it off the list, but Ammonoosuc Ravine was an absolute delight, along with Monroe. Jewell trail was mostly nothing to write home about and just tedious, but it was probably easier on our knees than doing out and back Ammonoosuc. </p><p>I usually describe photos solely in the ALT text but I’ll try something new here. </p><p>1 - I am not sure I’ve seen red moss before, unless this is something else?</p><p>2 - There were a lot of downed trees near and above trails but no real obstructions. Some sections like this portion of Brook were particularly bad. I’m unsure of the cause</p><p>3 - I took a selfie at the summit of Monroe with a nice view</p><p>4 - The larger of the Lakes of the Clouds can be seen in one photo. </p><p>Unlisted post replies after this one but there’s still more for those interested.</p>",
