"content": "<p>I switched my main PC from <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/linuxmint\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>linuxmint</span></a> with <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/cinnamon\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>cinnamon</span></a> to <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/arch\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>arch</span></a> with <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/kdeplasma\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>kdeplasma</span></a> a month back.</p><p>Mostly, it's been painless and I'm enjoying KDE a fair bit.</p><p>One issue I was seeing, and it's possibly from my experience running macOS, was despite there being a nice preview feature within Firefox that automatically pops playing videos into a smaller picture-in-picture display, they would constantly pop out in the centre of the screen and wouldn't stay on top of other windows...</p><p>Well, I finally figured out the correct kwin rules to change that behaviour, and I share below, in the spirit of... sharing...</p><p>Please pay special attention to the 'Window class (application)' name... most instructions I've seen online for this mention it should just be called 'firefox' ... and not 'firefox firefox' which is what works for me.</p>",
