"content": "<p>I signed up for <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/OpenStreetMap\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>OpenStreetMap</span></a> and started using an open source app called "Street-Complete" to contribute to my local area's mapping. </p><p>I highly encourage everyone to do the same.</p><p>If you're concerned about <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/privacy\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>privacy</span></a>, just sign up with a pseudonym, because contributing and building OSM databases is crucial if we want to have viable alternatives to big tech services like Google Maps and Apple Maps. Apps like OSMand wouldn't be possible without volunteers contributing to the OSM database.</p><p>Not only this, but it also gives me an excuse to get out for more walks and bike rides this summer, which is always a good thing. <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/FOSS\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>FOSS</span></a> <a href=\"https://infosec.exchange/tags/libre\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>libre</span></a></p>",
