Far from it.<br><br>I'm on the fence about blocking meta.<br>I think some* of the pro-federating-with-meta people have used super weak arguments, bad-faith reasoning, false info etc.<br><br>I don't know yet which of these three are right:<br><br>ā¢ don't block Meta on fedi just as we aren't blocking gmail on email<br>ā¢ block Meta on fedi and also start blocking gmail<br>ā¢ block Meta on fedi but don't block gmail, because the situations are different (e2ee not possible, culture & larger conversation issues problematic, world-readable has it's own set of risks etc)<br><br>I have a slight lean towards the first of those three but that's just preliminary. I wanna think more about it.
