I tried it this week and was really impressed by its design, its feature-set, and its ease of use. I’ve written a fair bit about fancy GTK media players like Clapper and Celluloid in the past. But Qt apps? Those not so much. And yet Haruna, an open source video player built using Qt/QML and libmpv, is every inch a match for those (and other) players. And naturally it looks fab on the KDE Plasma desktop: Obviously I’m aware that caring :sys_more_orange:<br /><a href=\"https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Apps\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Apps</span></a> <a href=\"https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Haruna\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Haruna</span></a> <a href=\"https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Kde\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Kde</span></a> <a href=\"https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Mediaplayers\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Mediaplayers</span></a> <a href=\"https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/QtApps\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>QtApps</span></a> </p><p>:sys_omgubuntu: <a href=\"https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/12/haruna-slick-video-player-for-kde-plasma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://www.</span><span class=\"ellipsis\">omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/12/haruna</span><span class=\"invisible\">-slick-video-player-for-kde-plasma</span></a></p>",
