It&#39;s a topic that was near to me because I had to build a new career and I found that my degree was more hindrance than help.</p><p>A few years ago, I published this: it studied a grant program that was partly funded by the NEH to transform how departments trained people. The funding got pulled early on, then it was partly taken over by Mellon...and then Mellon pulled the plug a couple of years ago. </p><p>Now that it&#39;s been a couple of years, I&#39;ve been thinking about this again. I kind of want to revisit what happened now that Mellon has pulled the plug. My expectation is that the centers I wrote about are withering away for the most part as the money dries up.</p><p>But am I wrong?
