Wearing a sari to demonstrate the typical dress of women in north-east India, she spoke in English about the history and culture of her country, her education and missionary work, and sang hymns in Bangla. During her second year in Britain, she frequently lectured together with Kate E. Williams, Pwllheli, to crowded audiences. These appearances were part of the qualification process for outgoing missionaries to India for the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Church. Our goal is to close representational gaps and set the Dictionary on a course of recording the diverse lives of historical Welsh people in all their facets. <a href=\"https://biography.wales/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"\">biography.wales/</span><span class=\"invisible\"></span></a></p><p>Otherwise, I'm working on <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/WelshWritingInEnglish\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>WelshWritingInEnglish</span></a> mostly from the long <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/C19\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>C19</span></a>, so there is lots of overspill into <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/RomanticLit\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>RomanticLit</span></a> and <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/EdwardianLit\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>EdwardianLit</span></a>, <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/CulturalHeritage\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>CulturalHeritage</span></a> and <a href=\"https://hcommons.social/tags/History\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>History</span></a> of this small nation.
