"name": "STORY\nGrowing up in the early 70s, my older brother's record collection had a big influence on me. This I did not realize until many years later. My older bro was always pretty much a rock n roll dude. Beatles, Stones, Alice Cooper, Led Zep etc. But in his wee collection of singles were a couple of unexpected purchases. One was Want Ads by Honey Cone, a very fresh n' funky exercise in late 60s pop soul. The other was a Jackson 5 single, Mama's Pearl.\n\nWhen I think back at all the musical knowledge my brother passed on to me, l can't seem to remember him saying a single word about that particular single, nor the Jackson 5. What I do clearly recall is him showing me that you could have fun holding a thin felt pen on a record label (presumably one you didn't care about) while it was spinning around in order to create a groovy spiral design. And this he did with his copy of Mama's Pearl.",
