"content": "<p>when i needed a quick soldering job on my gamecube controller (i didn't even need a connection made, it was already made, i just needed it cleaned up because i damaged the joint) i bugged a local friend about it. and that was easy because i could just throw the motherboard into a ziplock bag and hand it off to them</p><p>(i actually handed it off to them on the way home from a melee tournament lmao so i took apart the controller while i was at the tournament and kept all the parts in another bag)</p><p>for this it's like. it's just one joint but it has to be done in the middle of an assembly process that's not <em>hard</em> but is <em>involved</em>. i can't really complete it up to the point where it has to be soldered, bring it over to their house, have them hit the joint and bring it back home. will have to figure something else out</p>",
