"content": "<p>曾幾何時有無盡可能的應許之地，如今有無數人流亡，既有藝術家和社運人士、作家和異見人士，亦有護士、銀行家、老師和工程師。在這個全球化的世界，受過教育的人可以在母國之外尋求正常的生活。 2019年，香港和黎巴嫩振奮人心的示威，既未能阻止中國全面接手管治香港，也未能扭轉親伊朗的什葉派激進組織及政黨真主黨對黎巴嫩政治的日益扼制。</p><p>這種創傷在兩地都令人痛苦。黎巴嫩的生活水平在一年內從希臘或意大利南部的水平。下降到委內瑞拉的水平。由於過去的衝突和動盪造成的創傷，一大部分黎巴嫩人擁有第二本護照，作兩手準備。當我看到更多關於香港的資料時，我得知許多人也有第二本護照，是在1997年主權移交之前獲得的。我想知道箇中原因，畢竟香港並未遭受過戰爭或物資短缺。在那一剎我忘記了明明早已清楚知道的事實——經濟繁榮穩定不能取代對思想和言論自由、管治和法治的追求。</p>",
