"content": "<p>掛在飛機輪子上的阿富汗人，不顧一切離開那個突然將他們生吞活剝的國家，與黎巴嫩或香港的出逃潮固然完全不同。但在這幾個地方，隨著塔利班推進，隨著中國當局敲門，隨著黎巴嫩的統治集團又造成糧食燃料短缺或對抗爭者施暴，成千上萬人有時在一夜之間不得不作出痛苦的選擇，成為流亡者。</p><p>今天的阿富汗人、香港人和黎巴嫩人都是某種專制式不包容的受害者。各自具體情況都不同，但他們內部的錯位，也許最能體現那個誕生於1990年代輝煌時期的世界的消失。在這些地方，人們覺得被自己的領導人、世界、西方以及自己的樂觀心態所背叛，乃至目瞪口呆地看著那個經過幾十年的進步—儘管不完美和不平均，但仍然是進步--之後曾幾可能的生活被一筆勾銷。我寫過文章談及緩慢的、偷偷摸摸的轉變，幾十年來一波又一波的變化沖刷著社會，直到人們有一天醒來問：「發生咗咩事？」現在這三個地方--黎巴嫩、香港、阿富汗--提出的問題更加激烈，反映了變化的突然和震盪。那個問題也許更似： 「啱先做乜撚嘢？」</p><p>阿富汗、黎巴嫩和香港的故事中，有着某種深深的失落——失去希望和自由、乃至自由主義價值和思想的空間，以及更直接地說，失去家園和人才。</p>",
