"content": "<p>Valve Index is a nice piece of HW when it works, but it's so glitchy. On my first headset, the left audio channel had always been intermittent and I could never fix it. It kept getting worse and worse until that headset broke completely after 1.5 years, the HDMI connector in the headset went faulty. It's out of warranty so I bought a brand new one. The new one has the exact same fricking issue with the intermittent left audio channel. And I bet the new headset's connectivity will continue to deteriorate until it breaks again in slightly more than 12 months. It's also got a bunch of other glitches that I won't bother complaining about but one wonders what their QA process is like. It can't be good.</p><p>It's definitely the headsets' faults. My headsets show the same bad behavior on 2 different computers. Also tried a different headset on this computer and it worked fine. Any time I want to do VR I need to brace myself for a long debug session in case something doesn't work (often). Who has time for that?</p>",
