"content": "<p>After struggling for a while to build BespokeSynth with <a href=\"https://functional.cafe/tags/nix\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>nix</span></a> inside a container on silverblue, I couldn't make the alsa or jack driver work properly. Though, switching to a regular <a href=\"https://functional.cafe/tags/fedora\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>fedora</span></a> devel build environment, it worked out of the box, what a relief!</p><p>It's annoying that nix doesn't play well with host services like pipewire or vulkan. I'm usually able to fix it, but this time the JUCE wrapper for alsa failed with all sorts of errors, I guess because of a version mismatch somewhere.</p><p>Anyway, back to adding new controllers to the circularsequencer:)</p>",
