"content": "<p>I think I need advice.</p><p>I'm renovating my 16.04 <a href=\"https://floss.social/tags/Ubuntu\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> Media center which is running <a href=\"https://floss.social/tags/Kodi\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Kodi</span></a> 20. It's used to watch my scanned in DVDs.</p><p>It's streaming support is pretty trash and deeply unreliable at the best of times so it's never become a solid media center.</p><p>But now, on <a href=\"https://floss.social/tags/linux\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>linux</span></a> Mint/24.04 it's crashing trying to scan my library.</p><p>So I'm stuck thinking of a replacement since most of the linux MC software seems kinda weak for my use case of watching video files on a TV.</p><p>Help?</p>",
