And while I see lots(!) of advice for people moving into management, I am having a difficult time finding resources for how to cope with a bad manager.</p><p>Upper management is hardly going to be receptive to criticism, as they are responsible for the promotion. And criticizing your new boss is not the way to start the new relationship. </p><p>The suggestion to 'find a new job' is not always an option.
