"content": "<p><a href=\"https://www.anildash.com/2025/05/27/2025-05-27-internet-of-consent/\"></a>There's a bit to digest in this piece from <span class=\"h-card\"><a href=\"https://me.dm/users/anildash\" class=\"u-url mention\">@anildash@me.dm</a></span> and it's worth your time.</p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>While extremists behind some of the AI platforms (and their corrupt cronies in positions of political power) are even willing to destroy the entire copyright system to enable this heist, it's an interesting evolution of culture that fans have aligned to stand behind the artists they love.</p>\n</blockquote>\n<p>This sentence in particular piqued my interest because I think one potentially positive outcome of the AI content grab is a wholesale rethink of how intellectual property rights (like copyright) work.
