Which I'd say is actually a form of politeness politics, because it's highly tied into ideas of order and morality (and policing) and it wants to design/police around a "problem" rather than deal with the human and societal reality. It's how we end up with anti-sleeping spikes as a solution for "the problem of homelessness" rather than simply housing unhoused people who need a somewhere to sleep.</p>",
