"content": "<p>Today is my orientation to the intensive outpatient program I am starting. I don't know what to expect.</p><p>I have anxiety.</p><p>But I know it *will* be good for me. It's probably a better alternative to inpatient. </p><p>Supposedly I will get a counselor who can help me draft my schizophrenia action plan, draft my advance directive (for when I am full batshit), and help me learn some healthy coping mechanisms. </p><p>Re the latter, I don't know what else I can possibly do on top of what I already do on my own to cope. I feel like I have done everything.</p><p>Anyways, this is a positive thing, and it is completely standard operating procedure for me to be anxious. Today's coping mechanism is music and dissociating while putting on makeup. </p><p>Is dissociating healthy?
