"content": "<p>Hey Fedi,</p><p>Right now, there are only two of us looking after this steadily-growing instance, with about 230 monthly active users. Especially since <span class=\"h-card\" translate=\"no\"><a href=\"https://dragonscave.space/@talon\" class=\"u-url mention\">@<span>talon</span></a></span> would prefer to focus on the sysadmin side of things, also needing a break from moderation, this is no longer sustainable. We are looking for people who could help.</p><p>We need another person who could participate in discussions about reports and the best way to act on them; things are quiet here most of the time, but stressful situations can crop up now and then. Since the Cave is becoming quite lively, another eye on the Local Timeline would be wonderful, too. Oh, and other, more pleasant things, like approving new user applications and helping people.</p><p>Since only one of us has the tech knowledge and skills for running a Mastodon instance, it would also be great to have someone else who could assist. Mainly with optimization and updates, but potentially also with maintaining the instance if Talon is ever absent for a longer amount of time.</p><p>If you would like to volunteer for one or both positions, please read the requirements below.
