"content": "<p>Somewhat experienced in geo technology, but brand new to QGIS.</p><p>I am the original developer (and chief cook and bottle-washer) behind Tickets CAD, a free, Open Source Computer-Aided Dispatch package. It uses Google maps or OpenStreetMap, along with Leaflet as the interface library.</p><p>Yes, it's free; no adware, etc. And is available from SourceForge (see <a href=\"https://sourceforge.net/projects/openises/\">https://sourceforge.net/projects/openises/</a>) as well as Github. Been around for at least 15 years, and gets maybe 700 downloads a year.</p><p>Unsure just how I might use QGIS; possibly no more than editing shapefiles.</p><p>Best wishes to all here.
