Over TCP instead of dial-up though, connecting multiple of our machines together for mail, a few shared newsgroups, and some file exchange. </p><p>It was a bitch to set up, as a lot of documentation seems lost or hard to access, concerns different implementations, and often assumes a dial-up network that we don't use. </p><p>And then there are the parts where a part of the configuration just plain doesn't work for indeterminable reasons.</p>",
