"content": "<p>Since there has been a huge burst of new activity out there, and everyone has been doing <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/introductions\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>introductions</span></a> I guess I should (re)do a hashtag-laden <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/introduction\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>introduction</span></a> of my own.</p><p>I am a mid-century modern weirdo from <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/YYC\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>YYC</span></a> aka <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/Calgary\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Calgary</span></a> <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/Alberta\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Alberta</span></a> <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/Canada\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Canada</span></a> that runs <a href=\"https://coales.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"\">coales.co</span><span class=\"invisible\"></span></a> Hometown/Mastodon site out of the garage in his back yard (the servers are literally bolted to the ceiling in there...told you I was weird)</p><p>Like a lot of people here I am a computer nerd who codes a lot of <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/Python\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Python</span></a> and tinker with <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/microcontrollers\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>microcontrollers</span></a> and <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/OpenHardware\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>OpenHardware</span></a> and uses <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/Linux\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Linux</span></a> mostly. Professionally I do <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/IndustrialAutomation\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>IndustrialAutomation</span></a> <a href=\"https://coales.co/tags/SCADA\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>SCADA</span></a> stuff.</p><p>That said I often (sometimes mostly) post random and sometimes weird stuff. Occasionally political but put it behind content warnings.
