That figure doesn't even include any of the many Flashes, just easily-scraped text.</p><p>That is to say, this thread is going to be a lot.</p><p>Welcome to a random internet person's thoughts on reading Homestuck for the first time, entirely unspoiled.</p><p>An important note, I did not read the comic through the official site; I used "The Unofficial Homestuck Collection" (available at <a href=\"https://bambosh.dev/unofficial-homestuck-collection/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"ellipsis\">bambosh.dev/unofficial-homestu</span><span class=\"invisible\">ck-collection/</span></a> ). I also used the "Homestuck Slur Replacement" mod (available at <a href=\"https://github.com/GiovanH/HomestuckSlurReplacement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"ellipsis\">github.com/GiovanH/HomestuckSl</span><span class=\"invisible\">urReplacement</span></a> ), which does exactly what it says on the tin. Given that this mod straight-up removed all the dialogue from at least two minor characters later in the comic, I do not regret this.</p><p>Anyway, given the scope of this whole thing, I'm going to be breaking my thoughts down in categories, label them via the CW, and put them together in a thread below this post, one or two per day to space it out. 🧵</p>",
