"content": "<p>I am staring down some situations now, in what is among the most difficult times in my life. Yet, I have been through worse situations, and have landed on my feet. The current trial is difficult, but I am confident I will emerge from it stronger, wiser, and tougher because of the struggle.</p><p>I am reading a fine book by Eric Greitens entitled, "Resilience." Here's a quotation from that book that I am finding inspiring these days:<br /> </p><p>"The more responsibility people take [for events in their lives], the more resilient they are likely to be. … At the root of resilience is the willingness to take reponsibility for results. … [L]ife can do cruel things to people. Life is unfair. You are not responsible for everything that happens to you.
