Here are a few things worth noting (most of these facts are pulled from the report, but some are from other sources):</p><p>1. They buy 90% of the olive oil (used as an ingredient in many of their products) from Palestinian farmers in the <a href=\"https://c.im/tags/WestBank\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>WestBank</span></a>.</p><p>2. They use 100% renewable generated power in their production facilities.</p><p>3. They are transitioning away from plastic refill bottles and instead using wax-paper cartons. (with a much lower environmental footprint).</p><p>4. They gave a lot of money to some good causes --about 2% of their REVENUE (not profits).</p><p>5. They are major customers of many, many <a href=\"https://c.im/tags/organic\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>organic</span></a> farmers in the US and around the world.</p><p>6. The company is unapologetic about supporting <a href=\"https://c.im/tags/DEI\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>DEI</span></a> Principles.</p><p>7. Their highest-paid executive is paid around 5 times what their lowest-paid full-time, fully vested employee is paid --- which means the CEO makes a little over $200k a year. (most companies pay their CEO&#39;s hundreds of times what the rank and file are paid)</p><p>8. The company played a big role in supporting the growth of the industrial <a href=\"https://c.im/tags/hemp\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>hemp</span></a> industry (decades before it hit the mainstream), when it switched to using hemp oil in place of the ubiquitous &quot;caramel color&quot; in its products. </p><p>9.
