"content": "<p>Okay I need some input from the collective.</p><p>In October I visited Fleet Feet and bought a pair of size 10 sneakers. I think my feet were a bit "swollen" from walking 9 holes on the golf course prior to going to the store.</p><p>I got some size 10 sneakers based on the fitting and recommendation from the associate. Altra Riveras.</p><p>They felt fine in the store. Now, they don't feel so fine - too big/deep/roomy.</p><p>Fleet Feet has a sixty day window to return shoes if unsatisfied. I'm still within that window, but I've given these sneakers about 10 short wears and walks to see if I could make em work.</p><p>Am I an asshole for wanting to return the sneakers for a better fitting size even after wearing them (will they donate them to a worthy cause or something?), or should I suck it up buttercup and just deal with them not fitting great?</p><p>I'm honestly torn on what to do. I spent pretty good coin on these and want them to work and fit and to wear them. However, I'm not inclined to put em on when I know they don't fit well and my feet feel all "sloppy" inside the sneakers.</p><p>Is it okay to return them/exchange them based on their store policy, or is it bad form since I've worn and walked in these Altras?</p><p>Thoughts?</p><p>Thanks.</p>",
