"content": "<p>Welp, decided to get back on my <a href=\"https://aus.social/tags/OneNewGame\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>OneNewGame</span></a> bullshit for 2025.</p><p>I'll probably post them to my blog and then link them here there and everywhere.</p><p>I also set myself a new goal that I'll probably regret. </p><p>I'm not going to buy* any new games in 2025.</p><p>There are caveats.<br />- I have an active GamePass Ultimate subscription that's paid up for a couple of years<br />- I have an ongoing pre-paid Humble Bundle Subscription<br />- I'll still buy DLCs for games I *already* have that I've wishlisted AND hit a historic low on gg.deals (gotta scratch the itch somehow...)<br />- I'll accept gifts :p</p><p>So... here we go.</p>",

You DON'T need to follow me to get a key. This is about generosity when the world could really use some. </p><p>The only thing I ask is you follow the Wheaton rule: "Don't be a dick".</p><p>19/12/24: In what turned out to be a poorly timed decision, I bought a bundle of games and added them to the list today. Happy holidays.</p><p>To avoid keyfarmers and resellers, I have some guidelines, though.</p><p>1. No new accounts. Sorry. You've got to have been here on Mastodon & obviously human; ie. no keyfarmers (If I don't know you, I'm checking profiles).</p><p>2. One game per person; please pick your top three preferred games, in case your first preference is already gone. First in, first served, I go through PMs in the order that they're received - see below. </p><p>3. *Private Mention* me with the game number *AND* name, in order of preference. (Web: Profile > Three Dots > Privately Mention...), your app may vary.</p><p>I cannot reiterate this enough. You *must* -->PM<-- your request (consider this the "Brown M&Ms" clause).</p><p>4.
