I love the actual job of teaching, but so much of the rest could be done by admin. I loved school camps, and even found yard duty an opportunity to build positive connections with students, but they eat into a teacher’s time & energy. </p><p>My oldest is being accommodated as much as possible by a school principal, (neurodivergent & post-Covid health issues) but it means relief teaching or part-time, which reduces their income.</p>",
