I think Mastodon's increased friction is a GOOD thing, because it makes it harder to troll or act in bad faith — you have to put a lot more effort into engaging, and that work means the result has greater value. You're way less likely to waste it. </p><p>I think the UX here could use work for specific workflows, but the general friction/difficulty are a benefit to community-building, not a drawback.</p>",
